How we use Artificial Intelligence
Where and how Olivia uses Artificial Intelligence systems, in line with the AI Act.

Olivia integrates Artificial Intelligence systems and models into some platform features, to support data analysis, the generation of forecasts and insights, and the production of content.
In line with the principles of the European Artificial Intelligence Regulation (AI Act, Reg. EU 2024/1689) and with our commitment to an ethical and responsible use of technology, we want to make clear to users whether and when they interact with AI systems or use features that rely on them.
Where we use AI
AI Assistant
Olivia’s AI Assistant lets users ask questions in natural language and receive answers generated by Artificial Intelligence systems, based on the data and information available in the platform. On first access to the feature, the artificial nature of the system is made explicitly recognizable within the user experience.
Forecasting
Olivia uses Artificial Intelligence models to produce forecasts that support planning and operational decisions. Forecasts are based on available data and represent probabilistic estimates: actual results may differ from those predicted.
Sentiment Analysis
Olivia analyzes reviews and text content through Artificial Intelligence systems to identify recurring themes, prevailing sentiment and indicators useful for understanding user perception and business performance.
Auto-responder
Olivia allows users to generate, through Artificial Intelligence, draft replies to reviews. Generation is always started by the user, who can review and edit the proposed content before publishing it.
Menu Engineering
Olivia uses Artificial Intelligence systems to analyze menu performance and generate indicators and insights to support analysis and optimization of the offering.
Reliability and limitations
Artificial Intelligence systems may produce outputs such as forecasts, analyses, insights and content that are not always complete or free from errors. Olivia’s AI features are support tools: they complement and facilitate analysis, but do not replace the user’s evaluation and judgment. Responsibility for decisions taken on the basis of information provided by the platform remains with the user.
Transparency
We adopt concrete measures to make the use of Artificial Intelligence recognizable in features that involve direct interaction with AI systems or the automatic generation of content. Communication methods are calibrated to the characteristics of each feature and to applicable law, including the AI Act.
Data protection
Any processing of personal data within features that use Artificial Intelligence systems takes place in compliance with applicable personal data protection law. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.
