Our case studies
Companies that believed in us and today transform their challenges into opportunities, thanks to tailor-made solutions that anticipate the future

Mondadori
Olivia worked with Mondadori to develop advanced predictive models, combining internal and external data. The goal was to improve strategic decisions through trend analysis and data-driven opportunity identification.
The project used machine learning and business intelligence to process complex variables, such as historical data, market indicators, and socioeconomic factors. This approach allowed for more accurate forecasts and personalized business strategies.
Thanks to the implemented models, Mondadori was able to reduce decision-making uncertainty, anticipate future scenarios, and optimize resources. Data-driven analysis supported a more agile and informed decision-making process, strengthening competitiveness in the publishing market.

MMySupportive
MMySupportive is an international consulting firm specializing in the food, hospitality & entertainment sectors.
We design and manage Community Markets: gastronomic and gourmet markets where food becomes a tool for inclusion, education, and change, generating shared value for people and communities. Since 2015, with the opening of the first Porta Genova Market during EXPO Milan, we have been working to build places of urban, social, and economic regeneration through good food and the conviviality of the table.
At the Host 2023 trade show, we met Olivia. The collaboration came about naturally: in anticipation of a potential opening of a new Market in an Italian city, we hired Olivia to support us in the pre-feasibility phase, with the goal of obtaining an annual revenue forecast, broken down into monthly figures for the first year of operation.
Olivia provided us with a double analysis - Top Down and Bottom Up - with an estimate based on a 90% confidence interval, a crucial element for assessing the sustainability of the investment.
An equally strategic contribution came from Motion Analytica, which, using Vodafone's geolocalized data, provided granular data on pedestrian traffic in the area. The technology used is Vodafone Analytics, a solution that collects real-time data from the mobile network—non-personal and anonymized in full compliance with privacy regulations—ensuring highly precise temporal and spatial information. Thanks to this technology, precise information on pedestrian traffic in the area was provided.
Olivia then integrated this data to develop a daily traffic forecast, adding further value to the overall modeling. Olivia's team was also very helpful in the post-project delivery phase, providing us with additional forecasting insights that now allow us to evaluate profitability trends for each individual project area, further strengthening the robustness of our analysis. Collaborating with Olivia on the geomarketing analysis provided concrete and structured support during the preliminary evaluation phase and confirms the importance of working with competent and proactive technology partners, especially in the dynamic urban restaurant sector.

La Piadineria
We conducted a Challenge at a “La Piadineria” outlet in the province of Milan.
The challenge:
-
Ineffective Planning: The manual process was excessively time-consuming, resulting in a 20.88% margin of error in operator forecasts.
-
Waste of resources: The discrepancy between forecasts and actual demand generated unnecessary costs in procurement and personnel management.
The Olivia Solution:
Thanks to the implementation of Olivia's advanced forecasting system, the following have been integrated:
-
Historical data (sales, customer flows, seasonality).
-
Contextual factors (local events, weather).
The model automated planning, offering real-time recommendations.
Results
-
+3.08% forecast accuracy (82.2% vs 79.12% manual).
-
€7,000 annual savings thanks to inventory and shift optimization.
-
-90% of planning time, freeing up resources for value-added activities.
